"I attend and donate to Jazz in the Park most every Sunday during the concert series. I always bring my crocheting during the concert along with dinner. Numerous folks stop by and comment on whatever project I am crocheting. They and are so happy to see me crocheting! They always tell me that they are scared or afraid to bring out the knitting because they are concerned what people will think!"
In 2011, Cassandra is starting a weekly Donation Drive for City Park Jazz, featuring a "Knit Out and Crochet in the Park!"
Knitters are encouraged to bring your crochet or knitting to the concerts, and donate to the Bucket Brigade! Thank you Cassandra!
